Note to all:

Please ensure luggage, garment bags, and other items are marked clearly with the cadet’s name and CAP ID number.

“One Cadet / One Bag”

There is no “standard” or “approved” luggage, bag, or carrying equipment.  In other words, use what you already have, or bring/buy something that suits your needs but can be used for other activities as well.

Common “wheeled luggage”, “duffel bag” or large “athletic bag” type bags are perfectly acceptable and suited to the need. All uniform items, including shoes, must be in a single bag to make it easier to identify and move within the base.

Put simply, loose items get easily lost, especially in the confusion of in-process and graduation.  Our staff comes from all over the Region and we do not have a central place to store lost and found items.  Uniforms are expensive, and each year, despite our best efforts, we have unmarked jackets, boots, and other items we are unable to return.

Please ensure luggage, garment bags, and other items are marked clearly with the cadet’s name and CAP ID number.

During in-processing, cadet equipment will be checked for contraband and placed inside a bag that is marked clearly with the cadet’s name and flight, and transported to our ship by the Logistics Section - your cadet will have a single bag coming to the ship, and when leaving on both Sundays.  The ships are cleared and checked upon exiting to graduation.  If something is missing and it’s not in the bag, we do not have it in the ship, or our possession.
